August is full of Birthdays!

Annie Jo turned 2 on the 21st, My Dad turned the big 50 on the 27th and Shylee turned 4 on the 30th.

We had dinner at Hooper Park, had cake and ice cream, opened presents and played for Joeys birthday. We took her to TGI Fridays for lunch, She wanted a cake with a cow and a horse on it so that's what she got, of course. We gave her a T-ball set, a new highchair for her dolls, some crayons and new coloring books and her favorite a mini version of daddy's kawasaki. She's on her way to being a big girl, potty training here we come.
Then we had the big 50th birthday bash for Dad! It was really fun, and I think it made him realize how much he is loved. He got the real Harley for his birthday, and the mini version on his cake. And of course always a few helpers to blow out the candles. My sisters and I made him a video with pictures from throughout his life, he loved it, said it was the best gift he's ever got!

Then there was Shys birthday and with everyone in town, all the cousins I mean we were able to have a pinata. She picked a watermelon and wanted a cake to match. We had breakfast with Dani and Ry, then later that night went to the park for cake and ice cream and lots of presents. We gave her a desk( shes been asking for one forever), new clothes and a kidz bop cd. Every one had a great birthday, thanks everyone for supporting us I love you all and don't know what I would do without family, that includes all the in-laws!

Well They did it Dani and Ryan tied the knot! We're so excited for them. And now they're enjoying some down time in Jackson Hole. Danielle was the most beautiful bride ever and Ryan looked pretty good to!Despite a little or should I say a lot of rain it was a wonderful day! Nothing is better then seeing two people who love each other as much as Danielle and Ryan make the commitment to spend their life together. We love you both very much, thanks for letting us share your special day!

Happy Fathers Day to my man!

Dave with Karah Shylee Annie Jo

Happy Fathers Day to my one and only Davey! Your the best husband and father I could ask for. There isn't anyone else I would want to share this wonderful journey with. Your an example to me everyday, your so patient, understanding and what I love most about you full of love and laughter! And every bit as hot as you were the day I first laid eyes on you! I love the way the girls cry when you go to work and scream "Daddy's home" when they hear your truck pull into the drive way.

Thanks for giving us this life, WE LOVE YOU! your girls

Karah's six months

Our little care bear is six months! Were does time go? We took her to the doctor today and she was 18 lbs 12 oz and 26 inches! She is in the 95th percentile for everything. Which is very strange to me, all of our kids are very tall. She is a very happy smiley baby. She loves watching her sisters and loves the water. We're so excited she's finally getting hair we think she looks like a little fuzzy baby bird. Karah you've grown so fast. I enjoy every minute I have with you. I love nursing you it seems like that is our only alone time. We love you care bear!

The month of May

The first weekend in May we went to the Race for the cure. We had lots of fun. We stayed the night in SLC and I painted lots and lots of toenails! To bad we all didn't wear flip flops during the race. Congrats Mom you made it nine years! The worst part is for the second year in a row after the race we found out yet another person has been diagnosed with breast cancer. Last year Mandys friend Amy was diagnosed, and unfortunately this year Grandma Sanders found out she has breast cancer. I have to say I think we all felt like we had
lived that horrible day before. She had a double mastectomy on June first. Grandma I love you and I know you can beat this just like my Mom did. Mothers Day was fun, I'm always so thankful

to be a Mom its the greatest calling in life and to have my husband by my side makes it even better. Thanks girls for loving me so much and making me feel so special. Shylee and Annie planted corn and flower plants they had grow from seeds. Shylee loves Grandpa Cary's garden.

We've all been enjoying the weather we went to the zoo and to the pool for the first time this year. Shylee is very excited to take Hallie swimming. We're looking forward to summer and lots of camping, swimming and fishing.

Poor Shy has had the worst ear infection. We've been lucky she has had on since she got her tubes like 18months ago. But then 3 weeks ago she woke up screaming and by the time I got her to the Dr. she had blood coming out of her ear. The Dr. said there was so much infection in her ear he couldn't even tell if her ear drum had burst she has been on oral antibiotics and had shots. she goes to the ENT tomorrow so hopefully he will be able to help.

I love you Mom!

This time of year is always special for my family. Its Mother's day this weekend and its also the annual Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure. Every year we have "girls night out" we go to dinner, stay the night in SLC then go to the race the next morning. The Race for the Cure is special to us because my mom is a breast cancer survivor going on nine years this summer. I just wanted to tell my Mom how much I love her and how thankful I am to have her for my Mom. Mom you were so brave when you were sick. I was 18, I was old enough to understand what was going on but it was so hard to think of losing you. I remember the night we found out you telling us not to worry because you were going to "kick cancers ass!" and you did that for sure. You've taught me so much. Its truly special in this day to have parents that love each other, you and Dad are a great example to us. I'm so proud of you, your a wonderful Mom, and Grandma. Thanks for always being there for our family. We love you!

Spring is here!

Spring is here!!!!! It's finally warm enough to be outside. There has even been a few days warm enough for Karah to go outside. The girls are outside all the time. The only time they come in is for naps and bedtime. Annie is blessed with beautiful skin and is already very tan. They love helping Dave work in the yard, they even got their very own work gloves, as you can see they are very excited about. They helped Dave mow the lawn last weekend for the first time this year. It took him twice as long having two kids on the mower with him. Shylee has wanted a pet forever, I guess the 14 year old orange cat that we inherited when we moved into our house doesn't count. Dave and I told her if she kept working on counting we would get her a kitten. So here is our new little kitten. We're not sure what his name is Shylee keeps changing it from mickey to ace. But, Annie just calls him meow. Well whatever his name is he's done a lot since we got him the poor kitty has been in the wagon, stroller and goes down the slide, not to mention he is packed around constantly. But one thing is for sure nothing is cuter then little girls and a kitten. And even more exciting then the kitten Dave got a new bike. After a trip to the dunes early this year his honda blew up. With a brand new bike he is looking forward to lots of trips to the dunes and lots of riding at the track with Nick and Drew. I'm a little nervous since last year he fractured his ribs is six different places and collapsed a lung. So hopefully this bike will bring better luck and less injuries
